Our metals

Five qualified materials for structural, corrosion-resistant, high-temperature and conductive applications.

How it works

Three steps to your finished part

01

Upload 3D model

Upload your CAD file directly on our website and select the desired material and process. You'll receive a transparent quote instantly. Add models to your cart and pay conveniently via Twint, PayPal, credit card, or invoice.

02

Start manufacturing

Our team manually reviews every order for printability and optimal quality. We then manufacture your prototypes or end products with state-of-the-art 3D printing technology, using FDM, SLA, SLS, MJF, and SLM depending on requirements.

Receive models

After production, your models are carefully packaged and shipped by post. Current delivery times can be found in the Material Finder for each material. Express delivery or on-site pickup is also available on request.

When is metal 3D printing worthwhile?

A direct comparison with CNC milling — both processes have their strengths. Here is an honest side-by-side.

Criterion

CNC

SLM

Geometric freedom

Undercuts, internal channels and organic geometries only possible to a limited extent.

Virtually no geometric constraints.

Quantity 1–10

High setup and programming effort per part.

No tooling costs, no clamping.

Function integration

Multiple individual parts with fasteners and tolerance chains.

Assemblies can be consolidated into one part.

Surface finish (direct)

Ra < 1.6 µm achievable without post-processing.

As-built Ra 5–15 µm, down to Ra 0.8 µm with post-processing.

Material efficiency

Up to 80 % material loss as chips.

Only the powder is fused; unused powder is recycled.

Scaling to high volume

Economically superior from several hundred identical parts.

Economical up to small series (typically ≤ 250 pieces).

Frequently asked questions

Answers from our engineers on materials, process and delivery.

The price depends primarily on material volume, build height and alloy. Aluminium parts (AlSi10Mg) start at around CHF 35; titanium and Inconel parts are higher due to powder cost. You get the exact figure in under 60 seconds in the configurator.
We accept STEP / STP (preferred) and STL. For all other file formats, please submit an individual request.
Your CAD data is transmitted encrypted and treated in strict confidence. On request we are happy to sign your project-specific confidentiality agreement (NDA).
In the as-built state we work with ±0.1 mm or ±0.2 % of the nominal dimension. With CNC post-processing on functional surfaces we achieve ±0.05 mm and surfaces Ra 0.8 µm. Mark the functional surfaces in the CAD — we will make a precise quote.
Standard lead time is 7–10 working days from order receipt.
