Swiss3D – 3D Printing Service
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "GTC") apply to all orders placed with Swiss3D (hereinafter "Swiss3D" or "we"), regardless of whether they are submitted online, in writing or by telephone, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The version of the GTC published on the website at the time of ordering shall be authoritative. Swiss3D reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time.
The GTC apply equally to private and business customers. For business customers, different conditions may apply within the scope of individual agreements or framework contracts. In all other respects, the relevant provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO) shall apply.
The GTC are available in German, French, English and Italian. In the event of a dispute, the German version shall prevail.
The Swiss3D online shop provides for deliveries within Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. Additional shipping fees will be charged for orders from other countries.
Shipping costs are generally CHF 7.00 for deliveries within Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. Shipping is via Swiss Post (Priority). Different conditions or free shipping may apply for Swiss3D+ customers and in individually agreed cases.
Swiss3D offers an express option for CHF 30.00. This includes prioritised manufacturing of the order but does not include a different shipping option. Shipping is also via Swiss Post (Priority) for express manufacturing.
A small order surcharge is applied for orders with a value below CHF 25.00.
Delivery dates are given to the best of our knowledge and may vary from the stated periods depending on the delivery location. Delays in delivery do not entitle the customer to cancel the order or to claim damages, to the extent permitted by law.
The risk of damage or loss of goods passes to the customer upon handover to the shipping service provider (Swiss Post).
Orders can be collected on-site after prior notification by email (info@swiss3d.ch) or telephone.
Delivery delays caused by the customer (e.g. due to incorrect or incomplete address details) shall be borne by the customer. Any additional costs for re-shipping will be charged to the customer.
All prices are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include value added tax (VAT) at the currently applicable rate of 8.1%. The offer is valid while stocks last. Prices are subject to change.
Volume discounts and tiered pricing are calculated dynamically in the online portal. Surcharges for specific materials, post-processing or rush orders can be found on the respective product and material pages.
Quotations and offers from Swiss3D are valid for 14 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated.
All information on goods and prices on the Swiss3D website is non-binding and without obligation. By placing an order via the website, the customer makes a binding offer.
If the goods ordered by the customer are not available in the desired quantity or at the price stated on the website, Swiss3D will notify the customer as soon as possible. In this case, the contract is only valid when the customer confirms the corrected order again by email.
Orders and agreements made by telephone shall only become valid if confirmed in writing or by email. In the case of typographical, printing or calculation errors on the website, Swiss3D is entitled to withdraw free of charge.
Swiss3D reserves the right to decline orders without giving reasons.
In principle, cancellation is no longer possible after receipt of the order. Cancellation requests should be sent to info@swiss3d.ch as quickly as possible so that Swiss3D can accommodate them to the best extent possible. If production has not yet begun, Swiss3D will carry out the cancellation free of charge where possible.
Subsequent changes to an order are generally not possible after receipt of the order. Change requests should be sent to info@swiss3d.ch as quickly as possible so that Swiss3D can accommodate them to the best extent possible.
Withdrawal is excluded for custom-manufactured products. For standard products, withdrawal is possible within 5 days of receipt, provided the goods are unused and in their original packaging.
If a submitted model cannot be printed due to technical limitations or other reasons, Swiss3D reserves the right to cancel the order. In such cases, the customer will receive a full refund of the order amount. The customer will be informed of the order cancellation and the reasons therefor as soon as possible. The refund will be made within a reasonable period to the payment method used by the customer.
Swiss3D accepts the following file formats: STL, OBJ, STEP and STP. Only one model may be contained per 3D file.
Submitted models must not be hollow. Wall thicknesses and other technical requirements can be found in the Design Guide on the respective material page in the Material Finder. Errors in the supplied data (non-manifold, intersecting edges, etc.) entitle Swiss3D to withdraw from the order free of charge.
Storage of customer files after order completion is not guaranteed. Files will be deleted upon customer request.
Swiss3D may use submitted 3D files for internal quality purposes (e.g. test prints, calibration) unless otherwise agreed.
Applicable dimensional tolerances vary depending on the printing process and material. Specific tolerances are noted on the respective material page in the Swiss3D Material Finder.
Colour deviations may occur due to production processes. The base colour is guaranteed; colour deviations beyond this do not constitute a defect unless individually agreed otherwise.
Minor visual characteristics such as support marks, layer lines or slight irregularities are inherent to the process and do not constitute defects. If post-processing was commissioned and performed inadequately, the customer is entitled to free rectification or replacement delivery.
Defects must be reported in writing by email to info@swiss3d.ch within 7 days of receipt of the goods. The defect notification must include a description of the defect and meaningful photographs.
In the case of justified defects, Swiss3D shall decide at its own discretion on rectification, replacement delivery, price reduction or refund.
No warranty applies to defects attributable to improper handling, post-processing by the customer or third parties, faulty 3D data or process-related characteristics pursuant to Section 9.3.
Payment for ordered goods is made by TWINT, credit card or invoice. A fee of CHF 2.00 applies for payment by invoice.
Invoices must be settled within 14 days of the date of issue.
If payment is not made on time, a payment reminder and a first and second reminder will be sent by email. From the onset of default, default interest of 5% p.a. will be charged. Thereafter, the claim will be transferred to a collection agency.
For larger orders or in case of suspicion of unusual activity, Swiss3D reserves the right to require advance payment after receipt of the order.
Delivered products remain the property of Swiss3D until payment has been made in full.
The customer is solely responsible for the content and objects submitted for manufacturing. It is strictly prohibited to submit content and objects that violate applicable law, in particular weapons legislation. Swiss3D reserves the right to decline orders that violate these provisions. Swiss3D may also take appropriate legal action.
The customer warrants that they hold all rights to the submitted print data and that no third-party rights are infringed. Swiss3D assumes no obligation to verify this.
Swiss3D may use the customer’s company name as a reference. Information about the project will only be published with the express consent of the customer.
Swiss3D treats all data and information transmitted by the customer confidentially and does not disclose it to third parties without the customer’s consent, unless there is a legal obligation to do so.
For particularly sensitive projects, Swiss3D offers the conclusion of a separate non-disclosure agreement (NDA). This is available at https://swiss3d.ch/NDA.
The liability of Swiss3D is limited to the respective order value, to the extent permitted by law.
Swiss3D accepts no liability for lost profits, production losses or indirect or consequential damages that may arise for the buyer or third parties, to the extent permitted by law. This includes, in particular, damages due to delayed delivery.
Swiss3D accepts no liability for health damages that may result from the use of the products. The printed models are not food-safe and are therefore not suitable for contact with food or for medical applications. Small parts must be kept out of the reach of small children.
Swiss3D holds business liability insurance.
Swiss3D is released from its performance obligations if and to the extent that non-performance is attributable to circumstances beyond the control of Swiss3D. Force majeure includes in particular: natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, government orders, war, terrorism, riots, strikes, supply shortages, power outages, machine failures and other unforeseeable events.
Swiss3D will inform the customer immediately of the occurrence and expected end of the event. If the disruption lasts longer than 30 days, both parties are entitled to withdraw from the contract. Services already rendered will be invoiced proportionally.
Official communication between Swiss3D and the customer takes place by email. The official communication address is: info@swiss3d.ch.
Communications are deemed received when sent to the email address provided by the customer at the time of ordering.

Should any provision of these GTC be or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
The place of jurisdiction is Solothurn, Switzerland. Swiss law shall apply exclusively.
