Technologies for serial production

Industrial 3D printing processes optimized for repeatable serial production.

FDM series production

Plastic — FDM

FDM is the most cost-effective technology for larger serial parts. The process is particularly suitable for voluminous parts where material costs and build volume are decisive — such as masks, housings, or protective elements. With robust thermoplastics like PLA, PETG, or ASA, even larger models can be cost-effectively produced in small and medium series.

SLS powder bed series

Plastic — SLS & MJF

SLS and MJF are the leading technologies for additive series production of plastic parts. Both processes work without support structures, enable high packing density in the build chamber, and deliver repeatable mechanical properties across the entire series. Ideal for complex geometries that would require expensive tooling in conventional manufacturing.

SLM metal series

Metal — SLM

For metallic serial parts, we rely on SLM. The process is suitable for geometrically complex parts that cannot be produced with conventional methods or only with great effort. Fully dense parts from aluminum, stainless steel, or titanium — combined with CNC post-processing and heat treatment, we achieve tight tolerances and functional surface quality.

The path to serial production

Inquiry and analysis

Project requirements, quantities, and 3D data. We check feasibility and advise on the optimal technology.

Optimization for series

Part optimization for serial production, material selection, and binding quote with sample option.

Production

Serial production on industrial systems with ongoing quality control.

Delivery

Final inspection, optional post-processing, secure packaging, and on-time shipping.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the most important questions about series production

We produce from 1 piece — there is no minimum order quantity. Single parts and prototypes receive the same quality standards as larger series. Thanks to our large printing capacities, we can also produce several thousand parts in a short time.
For plastic series, we use FDM, SLS, and MJF. FDM is particularly suited for larger, voluminous parts. SLS and MJF work without support structures and enable high packing density. For metal series parts, we use SLM. We tailor the technology choice to your requirements.
We offer a wide spectrum of materials for series production: from engineering thermoplastics to glass-fiber reinforced plastics to metals like aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium. Material Finder.
Send us your 3D data together with desired quantities and requirements. We check printability, suggest the optimal technology and material, and create a binding quote.
