CAD Designer (m/f/d) – Architecture

About the position

We are looking for experienced CAD designers specialising in architecture to strengthen our team on a freelance basis. You will support us in creating high-quality 3D models for architectural projects that are subsequently realised via 3D printing.

As a specialised 3D printing service provider, we work with leading architectural firms, construction companies and planners. Your task is to create precise, printable 3D models that meet the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities

  • •Creation of 3D architectural models based on CAD plans, sketches or BIM data
  • •Processing of Swisstopo data to create terrain and surrounding models
  • •Optimisation of models for additive manufacturing (3D printing)
  • •Preparation and adaptation of existing 3D data
  • •Close coordination with our production team

Your profile

  • •Proven experience in 3D modelling of architectural projects
  • •Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD)
  • •Knowledge of 3D printing and additive manufacturing an advantage
  • •Understanding of structural engineering and construction details
  • •Precise, independent and reliable working style
  • •German language skills required
