Swiss3D has established itself as a copper sponsor of the ETH focus project RAPTURE, which is dedicated to the further development of additive manufacturing. The project, based at the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering (D-MAVT) at ETH Zurich, relies on Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) technology to revolutionize the production of multi-part rocket parts. Using a newly developed coating method, the project aims to become the fastest and most powder-efficient system of its kind. Swiss3D has provided key 3D models for the gas flow system for this project, supporting the next generation of materials processing in the space sector.
