Short description: PLA-CF is a composite variant of the standard PLA filament, reinforced with carbon fiber. This addition improves the stiffness, strength and thermal resistance of the material while keeping it lightweight. PLA-CF is ideal for applications where higher mechanical strength and reduced elongation is required compared to regular PLA.
Suitable uses:
- Parts that require higher strength and rigidity
- Structural components for drones, RC models
- Lightweight construction applications
- Prototypes that require greater resistance
Unsuitable uses:
- Applications that require a high degree of flexibility
- Parts that are exposed to long-term sunlight or high temperatures
- Applications where a smooth surface finish is required
