PLA (polylactide) Expand

PLA is biodegradable and therefore environmentally friendly. It offers good printability and is ideal for beginners.

Properties: Biodegradable, low melting temperature.

Suitable for: Decorative objects, prototypes, non-functional parts.

Unsuitable for: Mechanically stressed parts, outdoor applications.

ASA is known for its UV resistance and is often used for outdoor applications.
